Efrem Zimbalist, Jr., who would soon find TV stardom on 77 Sunset Strip, portrays the fuel's creator, tormented by guilt over a previous explosion that killed innocent people...including his own wife and children. And Howard W. Koch, perhaps best remembered as the executive producer of the Cold War classic The Manchurian Candidate, directs with an unerring sense of suspense.
