In this Sundance Award-winning film, two men attempt to begin their new lives amidst an unspoken need for encouragement and support. Martin Bonner has just moved to Reno from the East Coast, leaving behind his two adult children and a life he spent more than two decades building. Working as a volunteer coordinator helping prisoners transition to freedom, he meets Travis Holloway, a recently released prisoner in the program who was sent back into the world with nothing. As Martin and Travis get to know one another, they each find themselves learning about the hard work of starting a new life following traumatic circumstances.
