In THE BOOB, Peter Good (George K. Arthur) dons an cowboy suit and sets out on a swayback horse named Glue to find adventure and rescue damsels in distress. After giving an old woman a ride home on Glue, Peter rescues a dance hall girl who's in no need of rescue. But Peter proves he's no fool when he helps a young lady named Jane (Joan Crawford), a Federal Agent, out to corner a bootlegger. WHY BE GOOD? is a laugh-filled romp starring Colleen Moore as the vivacious Pert Kelly, a flapper who falls for her wealthy employer's son (Neil Hamilton). Pert's reputation as a "jazz baby" creates complications as the film unfolds, but with the expected happy ending as Pert's virtue is put to a test that she happily wins.
