Based on the true story of the founding of the Association for Children for Enforcement of Support, Lori Loughlin (TV's "Full House") stars as Gerri Jensen, whose struggle to raise her two sons following her divorce would eventually make her a hero to all divorced mothers. Following the end of her marriage due to her husband's infidelity, Gerri struggles to make ends meet. When her ex-husband disappears to avoid paying child support, she is faced with numerous difficulties and indignities: foreclosure on her home, seeking state welfare assistance, approaching friends and family for assistance, and being the target of abuse by bureaucrats and her ex-husband's family and friends. Only through her perseverance, and the eventual support of friends, is she able to maintain stability for her boys, and build an organization of support to help others like her. Newly remastered.
