There, he falls in love with the minister's daughter, Marion (Evalyn Knapp). But Dick's father is determined to put an end to their budding romance, so Marion takes a job working at the family company to prove her worth. A classic tale of opposites attract, this romantic comedy allows Wayne to shine in what would prove to be an atypical role, as the actor went on to become a major Western and adventure star.
